The 2026 International Conference on Digital Humanities (ICDH 2026) will be held in Chongqing, China, from October 23 to 26, 2026. With the core theme AI-Driven Interpretation: Rethinking Digital Humanities in the Age of Large Language Models, the conference focuses on the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence technology and digital humanities research.
ICDH 2026 is sponsored by Southwest University, China, and co-organized by the Center for Chinese and Greek Civilizations as well as the Intelligent Computing and Decision-Making for Civilizations Laboratory. It aims to bring together scholars and experts from the fields of humanities, technology, and museology around the world, providing a high-end interdisciplinary platform to explore the application of large language models in digital humanities, discuss core topics such as text digitization, cultural relic virtual reconstruction, smart museums, digital narrative, and related ethical challenges.
Committed to sharing the latest research findings and practical cases, stimulating innovative ideas and collaborative initiatives, the conference strives to promote the inheritance, revitalization, and sustainable development of human heritage in the digital age.

After a thorough review process, all accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings or recommended to publish in the International Journals.
Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission through the conference website, from which guidelines and templates are available.A blind peer-review process will be used to evaluate all submitted papers.
